Tour Description
Ever wondered what it would be like to dive into the open skies and fly?
Well, this is it - Skydiving in Las Vegas!
While you enjoy beautiful views of Mount Charleston, Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas
Strip, the pilot will be guiding the plane to our jump altitude over 2 miles above the
Earth.
Imagine the door opening, the wind hitting your face and seconds later you're free falling
toward Earth. Experience the thrill of tandem or solo skydiving. Feel the air rush in your
face as you jump out of the plane and freefall through the air at 120 mph. You get to pull
the ripcord with the help of a master parachutist, who will guide your parachute down to a
safe landing.
No experience is necessary and you are ready to jump after 20 minutes of instruction. Your
first jump is tandem, which means you will be attached to one of our professional
certified jump instructors.
Freefall for about 60 seconds, and then pull the ripcord for a gentle 5 to 7-minute float
back to Earth underneath the canopy of your parachute.

What is Tandem Jumping?
You are directly attached to the instructor and parachute system, and you free fall with
your instructor. You pull the ripcord and your instructor helps you guide the parachute
down to a safe landing.
What does it feel like?
It is hard to describe what it feels like. There is no feeling of falling as you might get
on a roller coaster. A feeling of weightlessness is how most describe it.
How long is the jump?
After a 20-minute ground course and some paperwork, you gear up and go. The airplane ride
is about 30 minutes all the way up to 15,500 ft. We go the highest in Las Vegas. You free
fall for about 60 seconds at 120 mph. You pull the parachute ripcord or your instructor
will do it for you. The parachute ride is 5-7 minutes, and you can help on the landing.
How qualified are your instructors?
Instructors are certified by the USPA/FAA and all have experienced over 2,000 jumps.
What type of airplane is it?
We operate a Cessna 207 turbo and a Cessna 182. All are maintained by FAA Aircraft
Mechanics and flown by FAA Commercial pilots. We follow all FAA Regulations for
maintenance and safety protocols.
What type of equipment do you use?
All parachute rigs are equipped with a state-of-the-art glider ram air parachute and a
Computerized Automatic Emergency Opener. All reserve parachutes are repacked every 120
days by a FAA certified parachute rigger.
What if the parachute does not open?
It is extremely rare that the main parachute does not work, but if it happens your
instructor will just use the reserve parachute - that's it. It's like flying an airplane,
before the pilot takes off he has a checklist and systems check, and we do the same. The
tandem master is highly trained and ready to deal with any issues.
What should I wear?
Tennis shoes or athletic shoes with no hooks, T-shirt, jeans or shorts, bring a sweater in
winter. We will provide you with a jumpsuit, goggles, earplugs and gloves. If you don't
have shoes, we can also provide those to you at no additional cost.
What if I don't want to jump?
You're the boss. If you don't want to jump, you don't have to. Though your instructor will
ride the plane down with you if it comforts you, the instructor would rather jump. Most
skydivers feel safer jumping than landing with the airplane.
What if I have special needs or am physical handicapped?
Our tandem instructors can accommodate handicapped passengers. Please notify us in the
"special requests" box on the booking page when making your reservation.
What if the weather is bad?
It's very unusual that we have to cancel because of bad weather. But, the weather is
sometimes different on the Las Vegas Strip, so call ahead to find out.
When do we pay?
Reserve now and pay on the day. A credit card is required to guarantee any reservation but
payment is made on the date of travel either by credit card, cash or travelers checks.
