Tour Description
No trip to Las Vegas is complete without a tour to the mighty Hoover Dam. Once you know a
tiny bit about the history of the Dam, it becomes a must see!
The Hoover Dam is a testimony to a country's ability to construct monolithic projects in
the midst of adverse conditions. Built during the Depression; thousands of men and their
families came to Black Canyon to tame the Colorado River. It took less than 5 years, in a
harsh and barren land, to build the largest dam of its time.
This tour provides approximately 2 hours free time at the Dam, enough to explore, peak
over the top, check out the history movie & exhibit and information center. An
additional guided tour of the Hoover Dam dubbed the "Discovery Tour", operated
by the Department of the Interior, may be purchased at Hoover Dam (approximately $10).

We know you want to take it easy so we have allotted plenty of time to enjoy a

for dessert. Dessert on this tour consists of a delicious array of samples courtesy of the
Ethel M Chocolate Factory.
Walk off the calories with a brief stroll though the Desert Botanical Gardens, just
adjacent to the factory.
In its 2.5 acres, you'll discover an arid landscape rich with over 350 species of cactus,
succulents and desert plants from the Southwest and other deserts of the world.
Please note: This tour does not operate on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day as Hoover Dam
is closed.

payment is made on the date of travel either by credit card, cash or travelers checks.
Cancellation Policy
All seats are guaranteed once you receive your E-ticket. Cancellations will be refunded in
full minus a $25.00 per person processing fee. No Shows and Cancellations within 24 hours
of the tour date are non-refundable.
