Grand Canyon Whitewater Rafting Highlights
Depart Las Vegas heading south towards the Grand Canyon! About about 2.5 hours out, we'll
stop in Kingman, Arizona at a travel center for a restroom break and leg stretch!
After driving down historic Route 66, check in with the river raft guides, the Hualapai
River Runners! Board the tribal bus for a scenic, though bumpy, 17-mile drive down to the
river on the only road into the Grand Canyon.
The inflatable, motor-powered rafts navigate the first rapids within a few minutes of your
boarding and donning your orange life vest. No matter what the temperature in the bottom
of the Grand Canyon, the river water is cold. Know in advance that you will get wet! Raft
Class 3 through 6 level rapids for about 5.5 hours! (Class 3 rapids are intermediate
rapids with moderate, irregular waves that may be difficult to avoid. Class 6 rapids are
advanced rapids with waves that get the heart rate going.)
When the raft trip ends, you are still in the depths of the Grand Canyon. Our jet
helicopter picks you up near the river. It then climbs among spectacular 3,000-foot cliffs
from the river to the tribe's modern airport on Grand Canyon's West Rim.
From the air terminal, return on a relaxing, comfortable journey (about 3 hours) to Las
Vegas! A brief photo stop at Hoover Dam is available if you want to grab some snapshots!

Drive time on this adventure is approximately 2.5 hours (each way) for the 320 miles
roundtrip. A comfortable, air-conditioned transfer from your hotel to the Grand Canyon
starts your day. Your expert river guide and raft await as you get geared up for the
adventure of a lifetime! After 5 hours, that's 55 miles, on the water your luxury
helicopter waits to take you to the rim of the Grand Canyon. Then, it's a relaxing ride
back to your hotel in Las Vegas - Feel free to take a nap - You'll probably need it!

Reserve now and pay on the day. A credit card is required to guarantee any reservation but
payment is made on the date of travel either by credit card, cash or travelers checks.
Cancellation Policy
All seats are guaranteed once you receive your E-ticket. Cancellations will be refunded in
full minus a $25.00 per person processing fee. No Shows and Cancellations within 24 hours
of the tour date are non-refundable.
